Top notch B & B! Rooms are wonderful--- roomy, clean, and QUIET! Nothing beats hearing the rain falling on your balcony--- a far cry from the sirens of city living. Staff was personable and kind--- made my boyfriend and I feel right at home! This B & B is ideally located- 2 minute drive to the center of New Hope and Lambertville, NJ. Close to great restaurants and wonderful wineries. We definitely plan on staying here again. Thanks Fox & Hound!

My girlfriend's parents recommended this b&b for our stay in New Hope. We absolutely loved it. Everything was well taken care of and decorated. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly- John took the time to go over all there was to know about the town of New Hope and nearby Lambertville, NJ. The room we stayed in was cute, spacious, clean, and well put together with the right furniture. Their breakfast was great!

Fox and Hound was the most lovely stay. I called last minute to get a reservation and the owners were more than accommodating. When we got there, Innkeepers John & Sarah were so sweet and gave the option of a free upgrade but we loved our 3rd floor Eagles Nest room so much that we stuck with it. Beautiful room, super clean and homey. We loved the electric fireplace and overall environment. French toast soufflé in the morning was great! We'll definitely be back!

Found it to be one of the nicest B&B places ever. The location is with reasonable walking distance of most destinations, the grounds not only beautiful but interesting, the host helpful and polite, and the breakfast decent. The best part about it is that the price is reasonable.

Fox and Hound Bed and Breakfast went above and beyond our expectations. The Inn Keeper, Kathy, and Sarah are both very sweet and helpful. The rooms are extremely clean with comfortable beds and everything you could need in them. It is walking distance to all of the downtown shops/restaurants -- when the weather is nice, is it fun to just walk around the main street in New Hope. Breakfast in the morning was extraordinary... I want the recipes!!

This was my first visit to a B&B, or I guess more appropriately, the Fox and Hound is an "inn." It was much better than I expected (in comparison to how I imagined a B&B type hotel). The room we had was quite large, with a full walk-in closet, private full bath, sofa, TV and full size bed. The accommodations, such as the breakfast, were decent. The small details that the innkeeper payed attention to paid off. There were many games, puzzles, books and magazines scattered about. The size of the inn was just enough that I didn't feel I was sharing a house with others. There was enough privacy to make it feel comfortable, but also enough "homeness" to make it cozy. I grew up near New Hope, and I feel this would be a very good place for a tourist to experience the town.

For the price there should have been a wonderful bed. Ours was lumpy, hard, springs protruding. Bathroom was small, shower was smaller still. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was good. Everything was very clean. Walking distance to downtown New Hope / Lambertville.

I will first say before even staying here I liked this place because it doesn't force you to book two nights on a weekend and their nightly rate is not outrageous like some of the other B&B's in the area. When i called to make the reservation Lisa was very friendly she emailed me a list of restaurants and said they would call to make the reservations if i'd like them to I obviously didn't call them to call to make reservations for me but it was still very nice to offer. We were able to check in an hour early. Our room was very nice we stayed on the 3rd floor in the eagles nest. The shower was a bit small, but its a bedroom so i was not expecting a large shower. We were pretty much the only people there which was nice, but you would think they would of offered an upgrade since the room wasn't being used anyway which they didn't, but thats not something they should have the rating lowered for. We went down for Breakfast at 8:30 we had a fruit cup and Zucchini, Tomato & Onion Quiche which was AWESOME...and we also had an apple cake which was pretty amazing( we did smell this cooking the night before and couldn't wait to eat it). The woman there who was Lisa's sister i do not remember her name gave me the recipes for both. I want to add that the Location is pretty awesome you could easily walk to main street as long as your not in heels!

Overall, not a bad place. Fairly convenient location and a decent room. Several problems, however. First, it was hot and the room air conditioner sounded like a diesel engine. Unbearable. Second, sliding bathroom door was in disrepair and had to be forced to move. Finally, the owners are cordial but not friendly. Bottom line, you can find better for the price.

Stayed there for 3 nights with my girlfriend. Very nice innkeeper and size of the place was perfect. It wasn't too small so you didn't feel like you were intruding and not too big which made it comfy. Our room was a decent size with a nice sized bathroom. It is an old house so expect a little bit of creaking and unfortunately the walls were not exactly sound proof and we could hear into the other rooms. Breakfast was good which featured your choice of the daily special or eggs along with coffee, tea and juice. The location was a bit removed from town but it was still only a short walk - 10 mins - from the center of town. It was definitely worth the moderate price tag.
